DOD Technologies purchased an older building and wanted to move his manufacturing facility into a larger facility. A waterproof roof was critical given the sensitivity of the manufacturing process.
The roof panel seams were leaking; especially where the vertical walls offset the higher office and lower warehouse meet. The building also has an inlay gutter which was a challenge to keep from leaking during winter ice back-ups.
We built a custom insulation flute fill over the metal seam panels. Then installed a TPO 60 ml roof membrane mechanically attached with the Rhinobond system over that. We decided to install the TPO membrane inside the gutter to build a monolithic system without joints. This seamless roof and gutter system will eliminate leaks for the life of the roof.
